A new method to analyze the scenic impact of fish farming
The project's objective is to develop a new method to analyze the scenic impact of aquaculture's sea cages. The method combines visibility calculations in Geographical Information Systems (GIS) and field evaluations and photographs. The resulting method should improve scenic impact evaluation in environmental impact assessment. The project recieved a grant from the Aquacutlure Environment Fund (Icelandic: Umhverfissjóður sjókvíeldis) in 2018.
